Herbatint Permanent Herbal Hair Colour is free from ammonia, resorcinol, parabens, fragrance and alcohol. Herbatint permanent herbal hair colours do contain PPD so always be skin safe and skin test prior to every use. The original non ammonia permanent herbal hair colourant Herbatint has been formulated using the minimum pharmaceutical chemical ingredients which, balanced with eight organic vegetal extracts, creates a unique hair colour formula that not only gently colours your hair but protects and nourishes it. Specially formulated from herb extracts and proteins, Herbatint uses rosemary, cinchona and walnut husk, to gently deposit colour pigments, achieving a natural, vibrant result for your hair. Due to its unique composition, Herbatint permanently colours hair without damage - resulting in a natural, subtle colour that not only looks good, but feels good time after time. Herbatint has a natural translucent property to enhance your hair with a light-reflecting, healthy shine; so it doesn't create the 'block colour' look often associated with chemical colourants. Herbatint permanent herbal hair colours and after care products are suitable for Vegans and registered with the UK Vegan Society. The Herbatint range is also certified by PETA and is Gluten free.

To lighten: It is possible to lighten natural hair by one or two shades on brown or chestnut hair and two to three shades on light chestnut or blonde hair. Can lighten previously tinted hair by two tones. Bleached hair: Herbatint can return hair to its natural colour, but remember to mix a gold shade with a natural if your target shade is 6N or above. 5N and below are fine by themselves on bleached hair. Permed hair: Do not colour your hair immediately after a perm. We recom- mend waiting two weeks and then shorten the processing time by 10 minutes and use a shade lighter than your target shade. Hair that has been treated with henna: Henna creates a sheath around the hair making it very difficult for tint to penetrate on the first application. Subsequent appli- cations should be more successful. Grey hair: If you choose a colour, which is Ash, Golden, Copper, Mahogany, we advise you to mix it with a colour from the natu- ral range in equal parts. Do not mix together two shades of the golden range. Instruction for use: Apply the haircolouring Herbatint on dry hair, leave to develop 30 to 40 minutes, rinse, shampoo with a shampoo from the Herbavita range and finish with the application of the royal cream.
Prior to every use it is advisable you carry out a 48 hour skin test with Herbatint hair colours. Should any irritation or allergic reaction arise from the use of any of our products then discontinue use and seek medical advice where required.
